Player Code of Conduct & Conditions of Entry Rules
All Sports competitors, general public, visitors must adhere to the following code of conduct
- Sport at MISC is a social, enjoyable experience promoting physical and mental wellbeing, self-confidence, and team spirit.
- Compliance with official game rules required; 2025 Indoor Competition Rules on electronic noticeboard and website.
- All games fees need to be paid before taking the court
- Treat all participants with respect and courtesy.
- All players play at their own risk. Maitland Indoor Sports Centre is not liable for any injuries.
- No verbal abuse, insulting language, provocation, or distraction of opponents.
- Players are encouraged to demonstrate good sportsmanship by applauding positive play from all teams.
- Competitions designed to be friendly and social.
- Cooperate with teammates, opponents, umpires, and captains.
- Respect dignity, rights, and worth of all participants.
- All forms of discrimination are unacceptable. Noone should be discriminated against regardless of gender, sexuality, culture, ability, or religion.
- MISC is privately operated; entry is a privilege, not a right.
- Players must register online before participation; entry may be refused at sole discretion.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Physical or verbal altercations will lead to immediate removal and permanent ban.
- Serious or repeated misconduct results in removal and disciplinary action.
- No mistreatment or misuse of equipment.
- Respect for all umpires is essential. Abuse of umpires in any form will not be tolerated. If you wish to discuss an umpiring decision, you may contact the Senior Staff/ General Manager directly.
- Report incidents or concerns promptly to General Manager in person or via email Maitland_indoor_sports@hotmail.com
- 24/7 surveillance in and around premises; entry implies consent to recording.
- Banned players prohibited from re-entry under any team or affiliate.
- Bans may apply to other operations at 37 Hinkler Avenue, Rutherford NSW 2320.
- General Manager reserves right to deny entry at any time.
- Negative social media commentary related to MISC may justify denial of access.
- Code subject to change without notice; current version available at counter, on our website, and emailed to team captains.
- Breaches may result in refusal of entry, removal, termination, permanent bans, and no refunds.
- By entering the Centre, you consent to photos and videos being taken and used for advertising and promotional purposes under the Privacy Act 1988 and applicable NSW legislation.
